The CIFE competition is organized by the Institute for International Energy Studies (IIES) affiliated to Iran's Ministry of Petroleum. The competition, supported by the Persian Gulf Fund (PGF) program of the IIES, is intended to assess the performance of the CI-based methods in modelling and forecasting energy time series. 1- 2000 $ for the first place.
